Abhirup Roy — tabla virtuoso from Kolkata, disciple of the legendary Pandit Kumar Bose, Global Music Award winner, and a musician the press described as: "Inspiring and full of sparkling intensity — it is thrilling how tone and colour develop under his fingers."  In a world where music increasingly transcends borders, few artists embody the spirit of cultural exchange as profoundly as Abhirup Roy. An internationally acclaimed tabla virtuoso, composer, educator, and cultural ambassador, Roy has dedicated his life to preserving the rich traditions of Indian classical music while simultaneously reimagining them for global audiences.

Deepsankar Bhattacharjee carries within him a tradition passed down across four generations — the Jafferkhani Baaj, one of the rarest and most profound styles of sitar playing in the world. His instrument sings. It whispers. It tells stories older than any recording. A disciple of his father, grand-disciple of the legendary Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan, and A-Grade artist of All India Radio, he is one of a handful of people on earth keeping this lineage alive.

Together, they don't play songs. They unfold Ragas — musical worlds bound to seasons, to times of day, to emotions that have no easy name in any Western language. What you will witness is not a performance. It is a conversation between two musicians who have known each other for years, who trust each other completely — and who, in this moment, in this room, will create something that will never exist again.

No prior knowledge needed. No preparation required. Just the willingness to slow down for one evening.
