Somatic Yoga with Catherine

Somatic Yoga is self-awareness in the most gentle and varied way.

 

Based on the Feldenkrais method, this class is a doorway to more presence and body connection, strengthening your nervous system by making new connections (neuroplasticity). We will be practicing a sequence of slow movements exploring fundamental flexibility learning to let go of the outcome. This practice makes you stronger, more flexible in body and mind, cultivates ease and efficiency, helps with coordination and balance, gives you a sense of poise and grace. You will feel more comfortable in your own skin, more spacious and lighter. It will give you the freedom to build on new patterns of movement, find quality in your self-organization and relate to yourself more truly and lovingly.
